@@erichvonmolder9310 correct. profits are at an all-time high but we are constantly reminded that it is high wages that is bad.

@@illegalsmirf , I know it is BS. With that in mind, you are seeing the Market go up, even though we had a pullback a couple of weeks ago. That's why I continue to be Long

The consumer will keep spending and nothing will change unless the Fed breaks it all. And to do that. They need to raise the rates. Wall Street wants you all to relax and keep spending. It helps for many of you to have that extra PT job! And the best goes on.

So blame the consumer because of corporate greed that has created this and still profit off of it?

This economy is on fire. Best economy I've ever seen in my entire life. High wages, jobs galore, accelerating equity growth, equities climbing. It certainly hasn't translated for everyone but high interest rates are the by-product of a great economy. Rates will fall when the economy isn't doing well.

Definitely a double edge sword. I take advantage of this because cash we want stable we keep in HSA and short term bonds to get yield. Then we are all in the NASDAQ-100 trade.
