Polaris Dawn has done the impossible: making history with private citizens conducting a spacewalk. The extravehicular activity was done to test SpaceX's new suits. Fresh off of splashdown, mission commander & Shift4 CEO Jared Isaacman joins Morgan Brennan to discuss the view from his walk, how this space mission compared to Inspiration4- his previous venture-and the path ahead for the Polaris Program.

I listened to the moon landing on my dads Ford pickup AM radio and I was amazed. Now, holy smokes, what a difference. To watch live as Starship descends with flaps burning off engulfed in plasm then achieve a soft landing. Outstanding. Then to watch Polaris Dawn astronauts exposed to space while Jared exits dragon for the first time all in high definition and live is simply out of this world. It’s the most exciting and amazing time to be alive. Keep up the great work. I anxiously await you next adventure Jared. You are a great ambassador for space exploration and your enthusiasm is infectious. Great interview

The second great Age of Exploration is here. If only the FAA could treat both Boeing and SpaceX in the same way -- reasonable oversight and minimal delays.

What would Jared have done without spacex, and yet US government is constantly hampering spaceX efforts.

I can't believe he paid so much money to risk his life this way. He should instead be paid for this test, unbelievable.

it’s important the successful people put their money back into advancing America instead of having the taxpayers pay for it all the time at 10 times the price.

Stop stop fr a second.... When he says,"impressive Visual of Light as they fall down" ", Everything in the craft was glowing Orange." What do you mean????? The plastics inside the craft, the screen, the walls, the chair, the suit... ALL WERE ACTIVE PLASMA BUT NOT DEATHLY HOT.. PLUS THE OUTSIDE IS GLOWING ORANGE AS WELL???? SO YOU MEAN , INSIDE MATERIALS WERE GLOWING AS WELL AS THE OUTSIDE?!?!?

Very poor choice of words. It was not private and the person did not leave the capsule. Incorrect language.

"Stupid rich guy" could be out there buying yachts and throwing parties with his fellow "elites" and jet-setting around the world, but instead he chooses to raise money for St. Jude children's hospital and spend his money to further human understanding and knowledge of the universe we live in, basically making himself a science experiment for others to study. What a show-off. I wish more billionaires would show off in similar ways.
