Powell going to leave rates unchanged. For cuts in September, unfortunately that's still off the table. Stronger data is going to be needed to show inflation easing. This is not a bad thing, but there are risks that if rates stay elevated for longer, that recession would follow. Inflation might increase as well. European bank cut rates a few months ago and already reports showing inflation is easing up again. Time will tell!
