Deepseek isn't definitively better than chatGPT It uses 96% less inference though So with the current chips already installed in current data centers, we can grow AI 25x without calling Nvidia again. So the model used by western AI companies just broke.

I am definitely NOT an expert on this as i m still learning it myself, but from what i understand: 1. Finetuning a large language model is VERY COSTLY, even if you don't touch the model itself, but use the LoRA route, the dataset required is still massive and processing it would take substantial computation power. Also there are so many LLMs out there, each tuning only work on that particular model, so it's not economically feasible unless you want to make a company out of it (e.g. Medical/Legal Q&A) 2. A more approachable way i would say, is to use a model that takes in longer tokens (such as Minimax 01, another Chinese model, that handles 4 million max tokens in one session, which is crazily huge), and just appoint the model to study a file (pdf, word, cvs etc) then interact with you based on that file. Then you don't even need to train a model, you just need to incorporate this as the beginning prompt in there inference.
