On question number 8 in the quiz is the program correct as long as the last coordinate is the angled coordinate? If the steps are in chronological order wouldn’t the problem be wrong?

if I understand your question, You are correct, the First Coordinate should be X.50, Z 0., But that is not how it is displayed that why i choose " NO".

X axis shows diameter, say .50 (@22;39). Wouldn't X.5 move the tool .50 from program 0 (x0, Z0) for a diameter of 1.0? Confusing.

Most CNC lathes are set up on Diameter measurements (some use radius however) ..so if you wanted to turn a .500 diameter you would move "X" to X .500, hope that helps.
