MANUAL PART PROGRAMMING FOR A CNC LATHE USING G & M CODES

In this Problem an effort has been made to write manual part program using G & M Codes for a typical turning profile given profile dimensions.
By going through my video tutorial, students will know how to write planning and operation sheet.
The students will understand the significance of Home Position of the tool and also Tool Entry point.
They will know how to do the initial settings in the manual part program.
Users will clearly understand the significance of G71 Multiple turning cycle with terminologies for depth of cut and retract distance.
They will also understand the significance of starting and ending block numbers in G71 cycle and also learn about the allowances to be left on X and Z axis for finish turning.
Also, the students will clearly understand about the significance of G70 finishing cycle where the tool will remove only the allowances left after rough multiple turning G71.
In general they will clearly get an idea to write a manual part program using G70 and G71 Cycle.
They also clearly understand how to Check syntax error, perform dry run and run program using Fanuc Turning Simulation Software.
They will also know how to do tool settings i.e., How to select the tool for different operation like Rough turning, Finish turning, Groove cutting, Thread cutting, Centre Driilling, Boring and Internal profiling operation.
