I love how the power scraper build (and rotary lap) were just sidenotes in this video. Most would have made a video for the rotary lap, then a video for the power scraper. Excellent content, I can't wait to see it in action!

I remember the video you shot about how hard it is for you to get the right materials, and how there is not necessarily a culture of craft and engineering right now… I think you have attained the level of master craftsman. Time to get an apprentice and spread the engineering! :)

Always love your vids. Your off cam side projects are as impressive as those you highlight. Love the adjustable stroke mechanism on your power scraper, and your Moore pattern scraping looks really good. With any luck, I'll get my slow speed grinder finished and get to scraping in the next month.

What a wonderful project! 👍 It might be a problem if your servo motors don't make enough torque to drive those axes without gearing. I would have used 3:1 belt pulleys and not used the coupling, it would be smaller stickout and have a lot more torque.
