CNC Router Milling large rough cut timber to make a table plus jointing

Morning Roger. Those tools have a very small clearance angle under the cutting edge. The tools with replaceable inserts are far better and generate much less heat. Don't know what spindle speeds you used but don't run the fly cutter too fast. Calculate the surface speed of the small tool and compare that to the large tool at the speeds you used. Jim
