I really like this guy. Really appreciate his perspective. I think he should be a resource for everyone but particularly people starting out.

The "barricade benchrest" comment struck a chord with me... in my eyes, it's unfortunate that PRS has gone that direction. Hell, ELR, Benchrest, and F-class all have weight limits and weight classes for a reason. Similarly, USPSA has power factor (and size/weight limits) for a reason. I think the amount of innovation and development PRS has spurred is awesome. However, watching people converge on 25 lb guns shooting the lightest/smallest bullet that gives consistency down range has played itself out at this point - I'd love to see the sport move back towards something resembling practical shooting.

Man I'm so glad to see Kahl on here... I first met Kahl at Pigg River for the VPRC match this year and then got to squad with him at the Pigg River HAM match. Kahl gave me alot of advice that helped me immensely. He's one of those guys that isn't going to sugar coat something to you or turn your dilemma into a way to sell you something... I've hit up Kahl recently for some advice and he's about as straight of a shooter and from my experience has been one of the best sources I have for advice... One of my favorite dudes to see at match's.. Well deserved match win!
