I would like the more horses but other than that I would drive Lexus. People that do a lot of research before they buy a car would cho0se the LS460. Just bought a 2014 LS 460 L AWD. The AWD "only" has 360 Hp as opposed to the 380 hp in the rear wheel drive and over 400 hp in the LS600 hybrid. I find that the 360hp does everything i need it to do on the road in terms of acceleration and living in North East US, all wheel drive is essential. The interior is superb and extremely quiet. I have the peanut butter and black two toned interior with pearl white exterior with only 43k miles. I plan to drive this vehicle for a looooonnnggg time and still get respect 8 years from now. LS models are considered classics by regular folks when you keep them in good condition.

Now the new S550 has the advantage, both the 7er and the LS are old now, new design dues soon for both, waiting that for the clash of the titans. Not fair to compare the fresh design S class to 5 years old design other brands.

if you going to keep the car forever choice the Lexus LS460 cause it will run forever, when it comes to luxurious BMW will take it no by far but when it's comes to reliability Lexus will shit on BMW. and that a fact.. lexus is rated the no 1 most reliable car 3 years in a row now.

BMW and Mercedes-Benz are stupid ass names that people like you don't know two shits about cars run after and buy. That BMW has the notorious N63 engine. As of 2019, there is a class action lawsuit against BMW with their defective N63 engine, requiring them to fix valve stem seals & etc. and/or most cases replace whole engines. Never owning a BMW again, only lease :)

I am a BMW driver for 20 years and went through 4 BMW cars, currently at the 2010 3 series seden. The only time i had to go to a service not for a anual check was when the front bumper was about to fall off on my old 1988 BMW because some asshole didn't know how to park properly. All of the cars were pre-owned and i never had a problem and they never gave up on me. So BMW is very dear to my heart. :)

Lexus LS over any full size luxury car....after 5 years of ownership the 7 series is worth maybe 20 percent of the msrp while the Lexus all in sudden cost more than the BMW by 5 to 10k ....try it thats why you can but a 750 2006 right now for 6k and a 2006 ls430 still at 10k to 16k dollar ...enough said

Like an idiot, I bought the BMW. WORST car buying decision I've ever made. Beautiful car, but that's all I can say for it. It spends more time at BMW for repairs than it spends in my driveway. I've spent thousands of dollars for repairs for BMWs supposed flagship car. Totally unreliable $96,000 luxury car. I'll never ever buy another one and I constantly tell everyone I know to buy anything other than a BMW.

thats the problem with softer, better feeling/looking leather. these test cars get alot of wear so i wouldnt be surprised to see worn leather seats. a while back Motortrend did a video of a Nissan 370z on the track. and the driver mentioned how the vehicle had electronic and trim piece issues because it went through so much wear from people getting in and out.

the BMW seems have a much lower interior build quality than the Lexus. When he pushes the button at 5:30 the whole panel around the button gets pushed in too... looks incredibly cheap. Lexus overall sees alot nice and better build.

Aesthetics is judged differently by every person, I also drive a 328 and find it way better looking than the bloated Lexus. Also the 350 competes with the 335i not 328. I trust car reviewers not you and your uncle, and don't car about your preference.
