Getting iCloud is sure better than not getting cloud support, even if you don't use it a lot of people do. Especially people that work with multiple computers

It depends. I have used an iPad and a transformer eee pad. The iPad is smoother on the browser, but sucks because it is chained to iTunes (keep in mind I did not update it to iOS 5). The eee pad was a great tool for school, downloading files, watching movies and it replaced my notebook. If a person just want to browse the web and check E-mails, the iPad is the better choice. If a person wants to use the entire web (even if it is a bit buggy) and watch movies, android tablets

I agree with all of them (especially chrome books). But HIGHLY disagree with iCloud, I personally love iCloud, what is there to learn about it or set up? All you do is put in your Apple ID and Password when you upgrade to iOS 5 and update your apple apps. After that you don't have to worry about syncing your apps, photos, or books with iTunes, you can snap a photo and have a look at it on your comp instantly. Or download an app on iTunes and find it on your iOS device. The iPhone 5 should be 4.

Remember when the iPhone 4S was launched and everyone was disappointed and when Apple's shares dropped this year? That was my disappointment this year. As for the Chromebook or HP Tablet, no one cared to begin with, so I wouldn't call it a disappointment, just background noise.

iCloud? really? iCloud is more than just storage, it also brought automatic downloads and Photo Stream (which are the main features I use).

it not that ppl dont know how to use it, its cas when u set it up it gets really annoying especially if u have a family of 4 each with either an itouch or iphone and a macbook. my dad for example downloaded an album and in the middle of school my iphone beeped it downloaded the album because i cloud told it to and um there went my very small data plan i might add

It was $899 soon slashed to $799 (the first 3G+32GB model if i remember correctly with promissed 4G). The $499 was WiFi model that came way later and even that was after it was discounted from $599. Get your facts straight before posting bs.

they could've added the iphone 4s, anyone was expecting the iphone 5 in october. but apple just updated the hardware a little bit and siri is still a beta product they added in ios5.

I totally disagree with 3D being a fad. It's simply in it's toddler stage, give it some time and it will get better. For a while people didn't care about screen resolution either and now if it's not 1080p forget it. Tv's can only get so clear before we will realize the next step is for the picture to pop out. In a few years 3D will be just as good and important as the 1080p resolution we expect. tv's are horrible for 3D, try monitors. 3D really comes down to screen size and distance from screen.

@bigcp500 the devices you mention might have more power but they have nothing to back it up... they are lacking in app support and i tried using some androids and found it a little sluggish. maybe it will change but for now Apple is on top because of apps and developer support.

Android tablets generally haven't given the iPad that much competition in comparison to their smartphone counterparts, which in my opinion have conquered the iPhone over the last year or so..

I'm not angry that manufacturers copied apple's innovation with the iPad. It's just really, REALLY frustrating that they half-assed these 'duds' just to make some sales off the tablet fad.

@bigcp500 yeah, but when you say "android tablets blow them away" you're implying they're ranked 2nd/3rd/4th. iPads are the number one tablet for a reason:THEY WORK! Android OS based companies just don't make comparable tablet, especially since the tablets you named are supposed to be"the best android tablets" when in reality, they kind of suck.
