@@caisar-lilis uhm, jam is 90% sugar, please... they aren't gonna eat all that jam in one sitting, they said it's for winter, they'll probably eat it for breakfast. with the amount of veggies and fruits they have in their garden, i doubt that they are unhealthy. plus they're hardworkers, gardening and making your own food sure does burn calories and sugar faster.

it depends on the climate, the season, the place and special methods. you can notice that she always store the products in the jars, and seal it with water or something, to make them in a pickle. or hang fruits or meats(with amount of salt on the surface or alcohol) under the roof for air drying. etc.
