Honestly( and this is going to sound a little crazy,I know but just bear with me here),I think that Chris Cuomo being fired from CNN could actually be a good thing and a blessing in disguise. And if CNN doesn't give him another chance and hire him back,he could use that to his advantage. In the age of the internet and social media,I don't even think he needs CNN, to tell you the truth. He should just start his own podcast! Look at how successful so many great podcasts are and look at how successful the Joe Rogan podcast has been! Chris is a great newsman and he's a good communicator and interviewer. Hopefully, someone close to Chris Cuomo has suggested the idea of starting a podcast to him. I'd definitely watch a Chris Cuomo podcast! With his own podcast,he won't have to worry about anyone having the ability to fire him whenever they feel like it and whenever he says or does something that they don't like and he'll be able to be his own boss! Granted,I do feel like there's an oversaturation of podcasts these days but people don't have to watch all of them. They can watch just the ones that they specifically like to watch(which is what I do).

That's not responsible journalism, however. Otherwise, you'd be dooming us all to 'let audiences make their own opinions' based on unmoderated, uncurated, equally weighted 'facts'. Thus, rather than us reporting on vaccines and so on, you'd be dooming us to invite on equally people claiming that lemon juice cures this virus, or crystals purify the body and have a healing power, and so on. @@crisleifan1682 the guidelines are in place to stop biased reporting. He had stood down from covering his brother's case so there was no biased reporting on his brother's issue. The contacts are also private citizens and are free to assist Chris Cuomo the private citizen. People are getting the trees and the forest confused. And that is not what got him fired. He was fired because he communicated with his brother's staff, letting them know what stories were about to break, so that his brother could do damage control *before* a new victim's story broke. Holy hell! Sexual misconduct from who knows how long ago. I am female, but I'm so over these allegations that come up all the time. I lived and worked through the 60s to 2000s and survived unwanted advances, bawdy language, and inappropriate behavior, and I'm still standing. Yes, I'm glad that some of this stuff has been cleaned up, but there really should be some sort of balance.

@@mathewg1747 but Andrew Cuomo didn't drug women to then take away their consent THEN those women come forward 40 years after the fact. I know so many women that will say ANYTHING to get 15 minutes of fame but no one is there in the man's shoes when his life is ruined because of lies. I'm a rape survivor and because of certain circumstances I didn't report either of the 2 rapes I went through. No there's no gag order nor am I a sex worker, it's just personal reason. I've worked in pretty much a "sausage fest" at a job I held for 13 years. I was the only female in my department for a very long time & I had my favorites including the supervisor. We worked long hours with each other under high stress nothing like politics but I have extreme back problems and my supervisor at the time was also certified in all kinds of massage and when he knew I was in agony he'd offer me a chair massage free of charge. It helped tremendously. Was I supposed to go to my next in command and then say my supervisor sexually assaulted me? These days you can't even hug someone without possibly having the possibility of assault charges. This society sucks that no one can talk about their personal likes or get chummy with anyone and not have to worry about these over sensitive "people". I mean being propositioned to go to a location for sex or with it implied is wrong. Should come with a penalty whether it's a boss or employee doing the inviting after finding out if it's true or not. At my job I held there was no point in reporting sexual harassment anyway. The biggest offender was unfortunately a friend of mine and 16 different woman with witnesses came forward and nothing happened to him. He told a lesbian "I'm an Italian stallion with an 11" "part" 1 night with me & you'll never go back to chicks ever " I told him to his face he should have been fired considering it was his 2nd time with multiple female complaints that he told me were all true. It didn't matter that I gave a statement that all the women were telling the truth because my statement was considered hearsay.

Actually data and serious independent studies on the media show that more people trust CNN than Faux News and RIGHFULLY so, as on Faux News Cuomo would have received a promotion for that. Just look at how Hannshitty or Sucker Tardson are still on air spreading disinformation daily. So, I'd advise you to read a few of those studies before making incoherent and uneducated comments based not on provable facts, but on your feelings and QAnon talking points.
