The city of Minneapolis spent $152,400 to provide private security for three City Council members, a higher amount than a previous estimate. The city provided security coverage for Council Members Alondra Cano and Phillipe Cunningham and Council Vice President Andrea Jenkins after they received threats, a colleague said. The security came from two companies: Aegis and BelCom. One of the contracts was signed June 7, the day the council members and six of their colleagues promised to “begin the process of ending” the Minneapolis Police Department. City spokeswoman Sarah McKenzie said services ended June 29. Because they did not surpass $175,000 in spending, the contracts did not need to be preapproved by the City Council during a public meeting, the city has said.

KZbin has given it's bigger media buddies the keys to the like ratio. CNN and MSNBC hasn't had negative like ratio is a while. They went back and adjusted all older videos as well. They didn't hold back either, now all of their videos have like ratios of several thousand, some by several 10's of thousands. It's comical as hell because I was keeping track of just how badly their videos were being disliked.

@saxonderohan97233 жыл бұрын
@@Mary...22-u9j The solution to the crisis at our border is _not_ to put a bunch of troops at our border. The solution is to prosecute the businesses that hire undocumented workers. The problem with that is our dependence upon cheap, and unskilled labor. Alabama tried going after undocumented people with HB56 and it had disastrous consequences for their state economy. They quickly found out that nobody wanted the jobs that most of these undocumented immigrants were doing, and they quietly rolled back their enforcement of the law. The other solution is to decriminalize and tax all drugs, and take the money out of the criminals pockets. The War on Drugs has been a complete failure. It has made criminals in Mexico and in America rich beyond all imagination, and it hasn’t done anything to stop or curtail drug use.
