Oh goodness how I remember these days like it was yesterday. I can still remember when Polaris blew up, and AC was still called Conglomo. The joys of browsing someones game dir and seeing *GASP* system shock 2!!?@#!# I miss the old days when you actually had to do a little search work to find the treasures floating around, that's when you really felt like you were accessing files that 90% of the computer users didn't know was even there.
