SanjayD: My father used to say:" Marta kya naheen karta!! That saying fits Gupta's family beautifully. We have no idea what Damyanti 's family had to go through during the time of Partition of India, but they did the very best that they could as if their lives depended on it and did so well!

So good to see Damyantiben after a long time. She is still with full of energy and happiness. Last I met her about 18+ years ago with her both sisters Pushpaben and Pdmaben at Seattle Washington at her brother, Deepak's place. Many mosques have been demolished in India too. Converted into houses or horse sheds. I think we don't have to pick on these elements of hatred. At least after such a long time.

Now, It is going to be easier for him to trace his ancestry back that far, because he comes from a Brahman family. Not everybody can do that… Still, I’m very glad he did this. His mother needed to do this, and that’s very easy to tell.
