Robert Bentley did essentially what Trump wants to do in the entire country in Alabama, and it didn't work out so well. Apart from the moral ramifications, their economy crashed because no one took the jobs that the undocumented immigrants had. Farmers had to beg for the law to be repealed. And there isn't really that large an illegal immigrant population in Alabama. Imagine the whole country. And people say they want to vote for Trump because of how he would change the economy.
