What would you do if you were climbing a ladder and someone at the top pointed at gun at you? Jackie chan flip over the guy? I don't know how knowledgeable about ladders you are but you kinda use your hands and feet to go up them and hard to reach down and grab your gun... Also police holsters are designed to make the gun harder to get out (to prevent someone running up behind the cop and just taking their gun and shooting them).... While training would make retrieving it one-handed on a ladder "easy" and fluid, it's not like you could do it before getting shot. What should he have done differently?

So the shooter was noticed to be acting suspiciously when he was near the magnetometers and word got out among security personnel to keep an eye on him. Yet, still, he ends up "walking around" at some point carrying his rifle, climbs up to the rooftop of one of the buildings to position himself for the shot. How in the World was this allowed to happen? He had already been "flagged" as someone to be watched closely before it all happened. Unreal.

Outer perimeter police failed and Secret Service failed. More obvious questions (not addressed here): 1. How did he know about that site? 2. How did he get access? 3. Did he park at the AGR International facility or walk from some distance? 4. If that responding deputy was told there might be a man with a gun on the roof, why didn't he have his gun drawn when he went up there? 4. The fact that a deputy was even there to check the rooftop, means there was a law enforcement presence at the AGR International facility; how did he get past them? 5. How could the shooter have set up, found his target and pulled the trigger in just a couple seconds? All of that strongly suggests a lot of preplanning and weapons training. To suggest that he put this all together on that day is absurd. Making the ammo purchase that day could easily be part of his plan to avoid raising the suspicions that might have come if he made such purchases earlier.

If only that were true. No, crooks fired three shots at moderate pace and no counter fire. He then paused and fired five more shots, no counter fire from the sniper team. Apparently a local police officer on the ground near Trump takes a shot at him and misses. then around a SEVEN SECOND pause and no counter fire. Finally, witnesses say, and video confirms, Crooks turned his attention to the crowd, and only then did they shoot a single shot to take him out.

Must add in on the timeline that: -Eye witness testimony of a late arriving couple to news sources stating they got lucky and watched him climb the roof. NO rifle..
