All these people, who obviously have never walked in those shoes. Amanda was a kid with no criminal record, 20 years old on the dean's list, she worked hard. Deserved a fair trial! The evidence at the crime scene was contaminated from the start. Trampled on by the media and the prosecution. Magnini used Amanda as a scapegoat. Amanda an amazingly beautiful and bright American to sensationalize and sell tickets to a show of such abuse of power. A show that continues to excite those who don't even recognize what really happens when an innocent person is set up to take the fall for a lazy and arrogant investigator. Rudy Guede confessed, was at the crime scene, has his footprints in her blood, left the country to hide from prosecution, and has a rap sheet that sure makes sense as to why he was the man and the only man in the first place to commit such a heinous crime. Stop being so lazy with the bait within the headlines!

@@SnowLeopardForeverYeah, I googled the case and it is as you say. This is from a Forbes article (June 5): *Knox told the court Wednesday she was coerced by police into implicating Lumumba (she said an Italian police officer slapped her multiple times while saying 'Remember, remember”), the BBC reported, and apologized for the harm that came from her false claims.* *Knox was 20 years old when Kercher was killed, and Knox and her ex-boyfriend were immediately the prime suspects in the case, a status that earned her a 53-hour interrogation session in the days immediately following the death that she has said included physical abuse by police officers without a lawyer or interpreter present.* *After that interrogation, she signed an Italian language confession implicating herself and accusing Lumumba of killing Kercher, the New York Times reported.* *"I'm very sorry that I wasn't strong enough to withstand the pressure from the police," Knox reportedly told the court Wednesday. "I never wanted to slander Patrick. He was my friend, he took care of me and consoled me for the loss of my friend. I'm sorry I wasn't able to resist the pressure and that he suffered."*

I found a friend who committed suicide before police even investigated they were asking me if I had anything to do with it. I was pissed at them because I just experienced trauma of seeing my best friend dead after shooting himself. Eventually is was ruled a suicide but I can see how easy it would be for police to just blame the first person who finds someone dead. Who is going to end up finding dead people family, or friends. Last would be police who calls police every time a friend doesn't get back to you in a few days.
