The first time this procedure was done, Carson was the lead surgeon. Ben Carson wrote the reference books for this. You may not like him politically, but the man is a gifted doctor

Really? The success of this procedure is a very good sign. Prior the removal of conjoint twins would usually kill one of them, so to have them both survive is pioneering.
