He'd love that, because you don't pay shit. The US has the most progressive tax system in the world, wherein the top 10% pay 76% of the income taxes and almost all of the capital gains taxes. Instead, you pay for the cost of that idiocy, and then the government spends more money than it has anyway, so it taxes you further in goods, services, inflation, and making everything more expensive through taxation on things poorer people use. So guess what happens when a court makes it legal, by setting judicial precedent, to just tax someone on the basis of spurious charges like those in this case. Since they can just change the law to target anyone they wish, nobody is going to want to run a business there. That means stuff is rarer and more expensive for New Yorkers, while only those who run the government, or are in close dealings with it, are allowed to prosper. Democratic states live this all the time, under their own governance, and you still haven't put two and two together yet, even with tens of millions of economic refugees. Who taught you to be that stupid? Was it the same people. Or did you manage that all by yourself?

More innocent people would die, moreso than on Jan 6th. The judges are weighing their options... sometimes, staying alive (and wealthy) is worth discarding the rule of law and handling some clients with VERY soft kids gloves.
