I remember hearing about Tupac Shakur's death on the news one Saturday morning. I had a friend at the time who was a fan of Tupac and I remember he was livid by the news. I had always thought whoever killed Tupac had since died and I had thought they had long since closed the case.

She didn't do any homework, lol. Orlando Anderson shot Tupac after Pac stomped him out at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas following a Mike Tyson fight. Keekie D was Orlando's uncle who admitted to passing Orlando the gun because due to him sitting in the passenger seat he could take the shot. Orlando was murdered sometime later in what can only be considered a retaliation killing. Keefie stated that he looked Suge right in the eyes before driving away. Keefie incriminated himself in a number of interviews include the most damaging 1 he did for VLAD.

Without credible eye witnesses it just became a waiting game for people to talk. This guy is the only one in the car still alive. Prosecute him, he gets acquitted and then the thing ends. After he wins, (because they probably won't be able to get a jury to convict) he can tell the whole thing due to double jeopardy, make millions from the book-movie deal and settle with anyone that sues over the matter. Having Suge Knight make an identification is risky. They'll just say he's lying to get time shaved off his current sentence.

I remember being in a BK drive-thru hearing on the radio "Rapper Tupac Shakur has been shot in Las Vegas" in 1996. I was around 10 years old and now I'm in my 30's hearing they finally got 1 of the suspects in custody. As Ice Cube said "Today was a good day".
