It is reassuring to have someone so brilliant and personable addressing our great country on behalf of the life of a great man who happened to be President from Jan 1977 to Jan 1981. // Jason served in the Peace Corps in South Africa after college. In South Africa he worked on education issues in rural areas.

I watched the Funeral Service for President Carter who I respect very much for all he did and more so having discovered things I didn't know. I was moved by President Carter's Grandsons and especially this Eulogy from Jason, I'm English and live in England but care about America, what a wonderful Family the Carter Family are and they are part of President Carter's Legacy and his works live on, they will miss him dearly, I was so pleased he reached 100 Years Of Age and left this World a better place for what he did and who he was.

May you all be embraced in condolence and comfort. Laughing about some of the fond memories among others is uplifting during the journey of grief. Weeping also is a response to love physically lost. They gave you love, respect, and guidance to live a humble life. Thank you for this eulogy and honor for the first president I ever remembered. He always had a natural smile shining through to encourage all in this world.

He's a testament to what his grandfather embodied. The last time I listened to an eulogy from beginning to end teared up and learned from it was when Kevin Costner had words of farewell to Whitney Houston. I remember being 9 years old and thinking what a decent person President Jimmy Carter is. Any human being to make it to 100 and have grandsons and great-grandsons that are proud of them and look up to them is definitely the definition of a special person with love and human decency.
