I write as an Indian South African. A number of sellouts in this country, for a while, followed the example set by the opposition in Bharat - about Sarvarkar and Golwalkar. They wrote letters to the press and sided with the leftists and Islamists on the CAA, Shaheen Bagh and the farmers protests. When confronted directly, none of them could speak authentically about what Savarkar and Golwalkar wrote about caste, nationalism, secularism and rebuilding Bharat. Veer Savarkar is a real freedom fighter, who physically undergone the most heinous physical injury to his body for 12 long years and was sentenced to another 50 long years of imprisonment by which time he would be 80 years. His only intention of seeking clemency is to come out of kalapini hell and somehow start freedom struggle, which was is only penance. Even Gandhi is in comparable to Veer Sarvarker sacrifice and freedom struggle.
