I am glad you like viewing the videos. I always wanted to help or show people fish at times are never about catching (like the others on KZbin), but enjoying this amazing world we live in! Thanks again for your support!

It is always tough on the Ohio river. I keep grinding the best I can. My next tournament is Lake Eire! SMBs here I come!!!

We fish out of Big Bone Creek a lot, mainly in the Thursday evening tournaments. Enjoyed the content and seeing other creeks we don't fish as often. Tight lines! We do the USA Bassin, too.

Thank you for commenting. I am working on responding sooner than later. I really enjoy my Thursday tournaments on a local lake. Keep grinding those tournaments!

I lived through this mess of a day. I need to start prefishing for these events...
@Jason_Emry_Fishing Жыл бұрын
There is a two-sided problem with prefishing for an event. If you're the Boater, then by all means have at it. Prefishing the waters will help eliminate non-productive waters. If you're the Co-angler, this is the toughest part to prefishing for an event. One hand, you can help yourself narrow down the baits for bites. On the other hand, it may hinder you because the fish (aka all the other elements you can't control) may be positioned or moved to a different place without any way of finding them on the back of the boat. To me, these tough tournaments challenge me to adjust or become resilient. Either way you look at the approaches to the tournaments, there is pros and cons. I always remember what a Pro stated in a video a long time ago, Black & Blue is always true in the River. Those river fish are always used to current so swimming something by structure is a must. Thanks for commenting and your support!

All that good structure u passed up tying on that rooster tail again, when your partner caught a keeper flipping. Cmon bro, I thought u was changing this year. Best of luck brother.........

Tell me something...is tanners Creek a no wake zone? I've got a jon boat with a mud motor that runs super shallow (5-6"). I was wanting to put in at the ramp and run the boat upstream for a few miles where there aren't very many people fishing. I idle by fishing boats, but if nobody is around I'd love to get some speed.

There are a mix of no wake and run areas in those creeks. It all depends on the area you in.

I am surprised that nether of you guys did not throw a buzz bait. Was there a reason no one did?
@FutureBassmaster4469 Жыл бұрын
All those docks n calm water instead of a rooster tail, I'd be throwing a popper or buzzbait. Been killing em in the river on a popper!

You know I thought about it but I swapped all my topwaters out a couple of days before this event. I wanted to throw a spook jr. near those docks. Lessons learned!

Thank you! I will ask my cardiologist on why I sound like Darth after a triple bypass surgery and 20 years of military service. It's ok to poke fun of someone that is behind a screen. You have a nice day, Ma'am.

Bro ur not flipping in Florida PLEASE try a 2-3/0 offset hook, a zoom UV speed craw, 1/8 Oz sinker NOT pegged n you will catch em I GUARANTEE you! I been killing em in the river this year. Your fishing for keeper small mouth with a 5/0 flipping hook, a big weight pegged. Just a little advice brother I wanna see you succeed n not waste money!

Bro work your bait ALL the way back to the boat, that Texas rig it didn't look like u worked it for 6 seconds then realed it in. The amount of money these tournaments cost, I'd be fishing alot more intense....

I agree with you fully. I will work on this next time. Thanks for the advise.
