I met David Spangler briefly when I was 22 at Asilomar California in late 1978. He was one of 3 presenters with Wm. Brugh Joy MD and Franklin Merrell-Wolff, my teacher, who was over 90 at the time. David gave a smile with a chuckle at the time we shook hands!

I had an OBE when I was young. My dad then got me a book on it and tried to have another one on my own. So it worked but there were two shadow people with red eyes trying to pull me out of my body. I was thinking hell no and never tried it again. They try to mess with you when you fall asleep or waking up but they're evil. Only twice I've seen angels on the same day. One came to me and was shaking me to wake up. The second one was a lady kneeling behind me like she was waiting for me to come back then she looked at something and that's when this dark black smoke came over me and it got me pissed and I woke up punching the floor. There is a spiritual war going on before us that we don't see.

I have a question and please don't think that I'm trying to argue or even disagree with you. Without blind faith how can you know that these non-physical beings can be trusted? What guarantee that they are not mischievous spirits or malignant? It seems that you have to just accept their message without knowing their origins or intent.

We don't have "blind faith". We are trained and learn to trust our experience of our communications with non-physical beings. You learn to pay attention to how you "feel" in accord with the energy being that is communicating with you. I have learned that the energies that feel like broken glass are not energies I want to associate with, and energies that feel like eternal love are energies I have no qualms being associated with. You learn to ask certain questions of the non-physical beings you are communicating with. By spiritual law, they must answer these questions truthfully. It's different from the dualism of human communications, where there is nothing preventing lying. Every person learns by experience whom to trust in the non-physical world, and moves forward when they're willing to trust their conclusions.

New Earth Nurse: Yes, sorry. I listened again and did hear these two terms. When I heard ‘legions’ before it didn’t stand out for me. I thought ‘multitudes’ as in multitudes of bright lights or angels. Does this word hold special meaning for you and others that I am overlooking? Do you connect the word only to the Biblical story which uses it? I’m confused also by a negative or secret meaning in the term ‘pit crew’. This talk is so inspiring and positive to me. I don’t see negativity or secret meanings. I assure you I am doing my research (waiting for an ordered copy of the ‘78 version of ‘Reflections on the Christ’) and if you can point me to primary source materials that prove what you say I would appreciate it. Very interesting dialogue here. I sense that David Spangler and the Findhorn project is not Luciferian. I have always wished to visit Findhorn. I just purchased his Sidhe deck and one of his books. As humans we must not think we can go it alone. I believe there are many mysteries to call upon but we must do so in respect to all living creatures. The Christ consciousness is made manifest in this greater LOVE and respect of others. I am a an old liberal who has realized that the democratic party seems to have been infiltrated by a kind of MK Ultra mind control of a mainstream news agenda which promotes the hatred of President Trump. I find Trump to be one of the best presidents we have ever had since the assassination of our president Kennedy. I have studied these Luciferians. and their infiltration in many of the organized religions. There are people who actually cannibalize other human beings. This is the shocker of a heart change which is a dividing ground between many groups in our present day society. An indicator of a not so subtle force which has found fertile ground in the realms of power and greed. I am not a fan of the UN and it's trans-humanism NWO agendas. I was secretary of a UNA organization in my home town for 7 years. In my view from personal experience with agnostic and atheistic persons involved, what once was an innocent and idealistic approach has been exploited by an unconscious ignorance of this creeping negativity toward life and an addiction towards depopulation in the shunting off of our connection to God. 'We shall know them by their fruits'. Many of these old friend and colleagues of mine seem to think they can power a better world without the help of God, angels and benevolent entities. Thank you, Holly! Your life experience is far more broad than mine, and I appreciate the learning opportunity! I, too, respect and trust David Spangler and Lorian. As I explore and think, I always know that this organization and this man offer a safe and balanced refuge within which to heal. And then get out there again .. As for Trump: I’m not a fan, as you are, but I don’t see him as a personification of evil as many of my liberal friends do. I think our country apparently needed him to be elected. My conservative friends needed him because they viewed him as in touch with how badly our leaders have misjudged the depth of suffering of so many hardworking people in the south and Midwest. The left needed him because they remain absolutely blind to their self-righteous inability to accept anyone and anything falling beyond their narrow and ever-changing accepted definition of ‘we’ in ‘we’re all in this together’. As for Lucifer: I’m still largely uninformed, and working on it. Intrigued. I think certain definitions of Lucifer help us to understand this dark and light aspect that exists within each of us. None of us is perfect. My favorite understanding of Lucifer, in the little I’ve read, is as a sort of beloved son of God who chose to fall to be with we imperfect humans in our cluelessness.. and to help us wrestle with this shadow side of ourselves that forgets that we have this beautiful human family, and a beautiful Earth home, and God - all with us! I see Lucifer the light bearer as being with us as we all suffer and grow. Is this accurate? Who knows. But I feel strongly that eventually, we all will feel ready to accept that we really are precious, all of us one and loved by God. As for Luciferians, I’ve not met any. Hello realtorjoan: I’m not a new age fan - particularly in its present corrupted form. I do know that David Spangler is a gifted teacher, and a decent and kind man. His teachings on love and relationship and connection beautifully resonate with Jesus’s teachings. I trust and learn from them both. If you feel threatened by certain words or concepts, please feel free to let them go ❤️. I long for conversations with fresh new words and descriptions so that we can bypass this ‘triggering effect’. It’s important for us all to care about one other as neighbors and family, to feel connected - willing to work together in this infinitely complex, beautiful and hurting world.

He was also absolutely devoted to his Bible and was quite literal in its interpretation. He was a strict conservative Christian, faithful to his church. I know next to nothing about Masons or Luciferans other than to know that my strict conservative Christian mason grandfather was unkind and unforgiving, highly judgmental. David Spangler is kind and forgiving.

The words you quoted were not written by or ever spoken by David Spangler. They continue to be falsely spread as his words but they are not his. He continues to be falsely accused and vilified for beliefs and proclamations that are not his. It baffles me. I’ve done my research and have read most of his writings. I continue to follow his work and I trust him. I know that we live in a time of unraveling and uncertainty. I think our best strategy is not to find blame, not to stoop to the lower powers who think they can control us, but to seek out the good - the God-focused who live lives of service and love. Rob Phillips Hello Rob - Thank you for this quote. Can you better reference it for me? I need a hard source or link from a first source. I’d also appreciate any other references you can give me that I can read in hard copy: books, speeches, etc. I realize there are many people besides you who are upset about this man, and it confuses and concerns me. I don’t understand why. I want to understand. I know next to nothing about Lucifer, other than what I’ve now quickly read about a light-bearer who ‘fell’, willingly or due to his actions. I’d like to see the connection for some Christians between Lucifer and the devil of the Christian Bible, who personifies evil. Let me say that we are all light and dark. None of us is perfectly ‘light’. We are beautifully flawed and continue to grow. I think, I know, God and Jesus accept us anyway, with love and compassion and gentleness, always. Rob Phillips Thank you, Rob! I have a newer reprint of this book, as I gave my original ‘78 copy, bought at Findhorn, to a friend who wanted to read it. I’ll find my new copy and look this up. The end of your quote definitely brings me up short. I’ll be in touch. In the meantime, can you help me understand how Lucifer became the devil for Christians? From my limited understanding, I don’t think Lucifer was mentioned in the New Testament. Only in a passage from the Old - Isaiah. Thank you again, Rob, for getting back to me.

Rob - just want to add that finding our way to wholeness makes absolute sense to me. As I mentioned before, we are both dark and light. Jesus chose to heal, and hung out with, those who were considered dark. In our divided world, I pray we will all choose to do as Jesus did. He was our original bridge between the divide. My problem is with ‘pledging allegiance to’ and ‘worshipping’. I guess this is yours as well? In our country we ‘pledge allegiance to’ the flag, and we worship in our churches and synagogues and mosques. In these Covid days, I have created my own Christian worship space in my home as I continue to pray since our church is closed. Can it be a problem with terminology? ‘Worship’, ‘Pledge allegiance to’, ‘bow down to’ are all trigger phrases for me as well, having been raised Quaker. I want to move beyond the trigger effect, though, into the deeper meaning found in the earlier phrase you quoted- the acceptance of both light and dark (shadow), and the healing which results from doing so.
