It was probably required by the sponsorship to "show off" the multiplayer in some way, otherwise he probably would've just played solo. If anything, it might be a fellow YTer that also got paid to play the game since its marketing. Not that Tyler knows who it is in that case but still.

I think armor is really good against endless enemies too, because the enemies will soon deal 500 damage for a tiny mistake, though by the time they start to deal unbearable damage, you begin to have the ability to AFK in a corner. (There's a good spot in the right hand side of the starting map, fit for 2 people (as long as you don't stack), though this is usually only available for multiple players when you have friendly fire off)

This game was 10/10 to watch. I’d actually cop this one. I was completely maxed dopamine from start to finish. Thrilling game. I like the speed the character and enemies move. The 4 limited weapon types. It doesn’t get too messy. The paths are very clear and it doesn’t look cluttered. I love vampire survivors and I’d say that’s my only complaint. It gets sooooo cluttered. This was very minimal.

It's the learning curve but I think Plasma was better for Fallingstars than Wildfire was. Wildfire does more Dot damage than fire or plasma, but plasma chains to other enemies and allows you to set more enemies on fire. Effectively making falling stars into an aoe spell

the falling stars targeting the highest HP is such a noob trap sure you get more damage, but you're not killing any enemy because you're not targeting the same one it only got good after it's imbued with fire because of the DoT which benefits from targeting different enemies Edit : nvm, the DoT stacks, but I guess it's still much better than a single hit that doesn't kill

Game is pretty good but is lacking in content currently and balancing is a bit all over the place. Some spells are clearly better than others, and some are just straight bad (lookin at you hex bomb). Pickup distance is also useless as drops never despawn and you get a magnet that draws in the entire map semi frequently. Base upgrades are also not great tbh, unless they're good rarity the stat upgrades are generally not worth skipping progress towards elemental damage. Other than a couple other small issues I think the game is pretty great, interested to see where it goes.

Having played this game myself, the idea of a co-op game like this is amazing, and a lot of the objectives are fun, having something besides “just survive” and “just kill the boss” is a god direction to evolve the genre. All that being said, this game is incredibly boring after the first hour or two, the build diversity is incredibly lacking. Most of the skills functionally play almost the exact same, and if you try to go for atypical builds there’s usually not enough support for them to actually function. Even the skill evolution system, which lets you modify and evolve skills after enough levels, lacks enough real punch to make runs with different paths actually feel different to play. Theres a lot of great ideas here but dear lord is the execution lacking past the initial few runs.

Btw Aliensrock, instead calling it a survival game, call it a Bullet Heaven. It's very different and therefore misleading from what is considered a survival game.

Interesting, I've never heard Bullet Heaven, only Bullet Hell (or Vampire Survivor-esque LOL), but I like it! It makes sense (Being similar to Bullet Hell but instead of focusing on rage inducing aspects its focusing on the satisfying nature of progression) and its good for this genre to start making a real name for itself with so many games coming out. Thanks for teaching me something new today!
