It's easy to make cinematic ambient sounds with the Quantum, but creating one that:s complex and interesting enough to listen to for 7 minutes straight is quite an achievement. This is some brilliant sound design.

Bonjour, étant moi-même possesseur d'un Quantum, je trouve tes banques de son extraordinaires. C'est mille fois mieux que la bande originale d'origine. J'ai acheté la banque Isolated. Ce Quantum est le synthétiseur digital le plus puissant et musical que je n'ai jamais rencontré. Il faudrait 3000 vies pour découvrir toutes les subtilités de ce monstre de synthèse. Bien à toi et merci encore pour tes vidéos.

one layer uses resonator and granular synthesis ( you can see that at 3:42 ) , and the internal reverb is better for the Quantum. Then a pure copy i don't think. But the Blofeld itself is good for ambient sounds, with rich modulations, some ambient fans love the blofeld. Something similar, i would say say.

I don’t know the Blofeld enough so I can’t give you my opinion, sorry. But what I can say is that this preset is using 6 oscillators + 2 analog filter + 2 digital filter + specific synth engines such as Resonator + Granular. So I don’t know the Blofeld but I can say that the Quantum is an insane beast!

dirk keersmaekers I dislike comments like this because they don’t make any sense to me. I’m sure you can create those range of sounds with another synth. That’s not the point of the video. It’s doing “those range of sounds”, but coming from the Quantum. 🙃
