Great job coach Anthony. I’m in shock at all the ESPN and Probox analysts that have gone out of their way to drive the narrative that all Ortiz did was run all night. This was a beautiful display of boxing. Perfect game plan, perfectly executed. Boring or not, entertainment value never decides a fight. Period! Real boxing fans appreciate all styles of boxing. The masses just want to see brawls. Toe to toe action is the only style of boxing they enjoy. I enjoy it all. Toe to toe, pocket, back foot, front foot, inside, outside, 12 rd tactical, 1st rd knockouts, you name it. Jamaine disarmed Teo and neutralized everything he does well. Did exactly what he was suppose to do. A fighter isn’t obligated to fight the fight that favours their opponent. People are pissed Ortiz didn’t do whatever Teo wanted him to do? Shit is sickening. People just don't care about technique: they just want to have fun like in the circus. Ortiz came with a strategy, executed it beautifully, ruled every exchange in position, timing and always exited safely. He could have thrown a little more but he was intelligent and composed the whole time. Teofimo was never dangerous, they could have fought for years and he still would have missed everything. Great display from Ortiz, physically and mentally. Love you coach.

Moreover he didn't make any adjustments, didn't have any single game plan. Of course, one might point to "Effective Aggression" as to what made Teofimo win. Still in my opinion Ortiz was winning in "Ring Generalship" because he was ruling the pace, the places and the distances. I just don't see how you can score it in a unanimous way, or 117-111 since neither of them had done anything to take a clear win. It was a close fight, definitely a split decision or a draw would have been fine - however for me Ortiz used his head and was physically on top of his game, Teofimo didn't have even that.

I was watching the fight highly impressed at how Ortiz used the whole ring his head movement and conditioning was very impressive as well he picked his spots when he wanted to engage very as well. Teo is flat footed and failed to cut the ring off Ortiz never let him find a rhythm he simply got outboxed point blank period and that 117-111 is egregious this is why boxing is dying.

Lopez was walking into shots all night, albeit not thudding shots, but he looked bewildered and frustrated. Overall Lopez was ineffective, Ortiz was catching him with check hooks, straight lefts and jabs on the back foot. Controlled distance and made Lopez look one dimensional. You don’t win a fight from just pressuring and landing a handful of “effective” shots. Btw what is effective? Because Lopez didn’t stop Ortiz nor did he force him to make adjustments to his gameplan… Ortiz simply outboxed Lopez

Jamaine Ortiz fought a beautiful fight. Utilized his lateral movement well and was able to evade most of Teo's shots, incredible stamina displayed by Ortiz. The only time Teo was able to catch up to Ortiz in terms of punches landed was literally after the headbutt from Teo that opened up a cut under Ortiz's eye. Obviously that was not a coincedence, Teo was desperate and in my opinion tried to get dirty in order to stop the shut-out that Ortiz was well on his way to pitching. That Weisfeld scorecard was simply disgusting, no matter how you slice and dice it.

Jamain fought beautifully from rds 1 to 5 making teo miss and countering sharp 6-10 he kinda eased off on the countering and moved a lot probably due to the cut on his eye but I felt like he let himself down in the 11th and 12th man, he should’ve won 8-4 if not for the 11th and 12th that being said tho atleast 6-6 would’ve been acceptable
