Great video james, it's a shame it was scrapped, must have been beyond repair

Pretty much, it went VOR in 2022 when the propshaft decided to come off, towed back to base, threw some money getting it sorted, first time back on the road after a few months off the road it didn't even make it to the start of the school run, towed back again, shoved at back of yard and that was the end of it's service

What was first gear like to engage / change up from? A friend of mine owned one and it was a pig - the only thing he didn't like about the coach.

This one wasn't too bad a bit odd as it feels sloppy and its far too forward as well, but hydraulic shift was alright actually, the manuals with the linkage system was interesting, I remember one of them you knew you were in first when your knuckles hit the dashboard 😂

What a shame it was scrapped. Was it really that bad? It looks like it had loads of power.

Everyone at our yard called it 'Mighty', not just because the end letters of the reg were 'MTE' but it had the bigger block over the other Bova's we had, right old power train that was! The propshaft decided to come off and then after that was done it lasted only half an hour and something else went seriously wrong (can't remember what it was now) but it was towed back to yard again, and that was that it was decided to take spares off of it and then went to Wrigleys for scrap
