I remember Washington running this in maybe '16...added it to our playbook the following season. It ended up being more of a freeze-toss but it was a great was to get +1 outside.

Ohio states been doing this for awhile. Alabama and Clemson were as well when they had jalen and deshaun but a little different wrinkle from the pistol, I like it! . Great play

@@FootballCoachingBrotherhood When I played in college, we blocked it exactly like we blocked our outside zone, except we didn't block the defensive EMOLOS. Simple.

I’ve seen Lincoln Riley call this a lot. I believe he started running in 2017 with Baker Mayfield and then perfecting it with Kyler Murray in 2018. I remember thinking it was a busted play until I saw it a second time. Beautiful play design.
