It's not just the offense, Defense also looked unprepared in every game we had. The good things came from individual class (T.J. Highsmith etc) Offense terrible: Can't move the ball, same plays since years (2:2 curls, sideline throws, runs through middle). We have two good tight ends that we never use and so on. OLine also terrible since Munchak gone. That's not Steelers Football, that's Tomlins "Standard" and has nothing to do with modern NFL. Look what Eric Bienemy has done with Washington Commanders. A team of nobody's looked good against Eagles. Tomlin and Canada have so much talent and create nothing. Give Shanahan the Steelers team and we make a deep playoff run.

It amazes me that Canada keeps getting hired. He was a disaster at the college level including OC at Maryland, then hired by LSU for same position which they quickly discovered was a big mistake and removed him after one year. Steelers definitely need to move on from him as well if they want the offense to improve. Also think that Tomlin has stayed past his welcome in Pittsburgh and needs to be replaced. If not you will just get more Tomlin speak after a defeat----"we own the lousy performance and need to get better". That's hardly a plan to improve.

Tomlin is consistently out coached. Why would you even go for it when kp got hurt. Hou had zero momentum. You kick the fg you just put up 9 in the qr and are now only a td away with momentum. That one play changed the course of hou play calling and the entire season. The biggest thing we can hope for is mitch to get out of the way for Rudolph. We know Rudolph can sling it, mitch will throw it 2yds and punt.

Explain to me how a makeshift offensive line that has suffered 6-8 injuries and was starting Kendrick Green, whom the Steelers would have cut but traded, literally manhandled the Steelers front seven??? One of the highest paid defenses got manhandled by scrubs. The offense was just horrible. Players didn't make plays, and Canada just needs to be fired....now. Seriously, how much worse could implementing a new offense be at this point? They didn't even have 50 yards in the first half.

Mike Tomlin is too comfortable because I'm 54 and we've only had 3 head coaches in my lifetime so he believes he has job security anytime he's OK with the offense not having a 400 yd game since Canada has been the OC so if the defense has an off day the Steelers have no chance of winning and Austin continues to play Minka out of position while are DB's can't cover,but this is a bright spot if Kenny is hurt because this team wasn't going anywhere with him leading now Trubisky can drive Tomlin to his first loosing season and he can stop hanging his hat on that dubious accomplishment

I've defended Coach T for years, but with Kenny getting hurt because of a ridiculous play call by Matt Canada on 4th & 1.. (SHOTGUN!!??) that's the last straw for me. Tomlin has had his crack at it and it's time to move on. It's always hard to accept things like this however everything good must come to an end. The Steelers need a change at head coach which can then trickle down the entire team. 15 years is a long enough stint and I thank him for giving it his best but the time has come for change. A fresh coach with fresh ideas will suit this young team going forward and great things will follow. 3 head coaches in the last 50 off years is a great thing to talk about but we need to let this go and think of how we can get that next ring. The standard is the standard but unfortunately the standard has slipped.

This isn't an aberration. Tomlin may be the best cheerleader in the league but he is not a good overall HC. Canada sucks but he's there because Tomlin hired and continues to defend the guy. Tomlin's defense got run on by a crappy 2, 3, and 4th back up offensive line. The more i see this team without Ben the more i believe Ben has been bailing this franchise out since Tomlin was hired. Lev Bell said that Ben often ignored the OC and called his own plays in the huddle. Time for a new coaching staff Mr Rooney. Wake up man....
