Did you end up loving this saddle Willis? It’s a very beautiful bag. I’m looking to purchase one but it might be just a little tall for me. I don’t mind the length but I’m wondering if they 10 inches high will bother me. Did you end up using it as an every day bag or just special occasion?

HI... So, did you keep it..? I too have the black willis 1941, contrast stitch, though I will say, I'm a purist at times and would prefer tonal stitching on the bag, but the carmel lining is wonderful. I did just buy the Coach Original in Kelly green ..Whoa, it is my now favorite bag. It does hold all my stuff and like you, I only carry the basics, but need room for husbands sunnies and wallet when necessary ..LOL....so, I was going to sell my 1941, then, I did further examination and realized that there was a difference. You are right, the turncock is smaller and less chunky. I wish they had kept it on the Original...because it feels more... well, original. So I'm keeping for now, basically because its exactly what you said, the later regret.... But I like the green one so much, I just ordered the black one. I have a great SA in NY at Coach House ,(I'm in Calif) that I met on a quick vacay in NY, she is my "go to" for all of my coach things now... and she just customized my black willis original with my all time favorite Rexy pin.... You might like it however it is exactly like the bag that you have in this video except it’s black, so you may not like it as well as you did the coach in 1841 with the contrasting stitching and the lovely Carmel interior. But I found myself really loving the green color so much that I have to have a black one and I’m just not using my 1941. And then with her doing the personalization of the T-Rex.. it was a win-win. I really enjoy the videos I’ve watched of your thoughts and bags, I guess reviews that’s what you call them reviews I’ve thought about doing a KZbin channel but then when I really sit down to do something it just never flows like it would if I was just talking to myself in the mirror… LOL but I am a purse crazy woman and I enjoy really good videos that give me information. So thank you. With that being said and this wasn’t something I had planned but, I am going to get rid of my black coach 1941 Willis. Just like the one you said you sold. If you’re interested, Feel free to reach out to me, I don’t know if you can private message me or wanna reply or whatever… I would probably be putting it on eBay, but I can send you pictures and if you’re interested it’s in immaculate perfect condition because I barely used it in fact I think some of the original protective packaging is still in the bag on some of the zipper polls and stuff I can’t recall but it is in amazing condition. No harm no foul just thought I would mention it, it’s on the pre-loved market and if I put it on eBay then you’ve got competition... Hi there!! For me it was the finishing touches. The 1941 version seemed a little more polished. I liked the 1941 hang tag and was unimpressed with the Coach originals tag. The color of the saddle leather in the 1941 version also seemed a little richer to me. With that being said, the originals version is still a beautiful bag, it just isn’t what I had my heart set on.
