My husband asked me to marry him on our first date I gave him my list of reasonable expectations and he gave me his. I said "if I like you after 6 months we will get married." Notice I didn't say "love" love grows it's a choice you make everyday, it's not a fuzzy feeling. Six months later I liked him we got married on December 19, 2023 was our 15th wedding anniversary and we both have kept every promise and commitment we made to each other.

@MVMO Channel I have received a lot of valuable insight from your podcast since I started watching you two months ago. I’m 40, so I could’ve used your advice when I was in my twenties, but better late than never. I know a couple thats recently engaged, the female partner definitely twisted the male’s arm to get engaged. Because her approach worked, I begin to think it’s ok to do what she did to get the ring. I’m glad you decided to cover this topic, because this is something I can stick in my back pocket. If a man truly wants you, you won’t have to twist his arm. If it weren’t for you, I’d still be walking around here thinking my potential partner needs to be active in the church to be seen as husband material. As you pointed out, there are many men who don’t attend church, but they are integral , loyal, and filled with goodness. Basically, you were saying to keep your eyes and your mind open. Collect data during the dating process and don’t become blind to the BS just because he claims to be Christian. Whoever knows you IRL as a friend, sister, cousin, etc is truly blessed they have you in that way. You insight is truly valuable.

It was very clear to me who Deion Sanders is when I watched the reality show about his family. He treated his wife like she was less than him and he didn't hide it from the cameras. I knew he was never going to marry her...to bad it took her this long to realize this too.

The other thing, too, is that if a man sees you as GOLD, he would want to make sure that you aren't swooped up by another man out there who would beat him to the punch! Claudia Jordan is a close personal friend of Tracey's and has dropped hints to confirm everything you've said. Including the fact that someone else may now have his attention. I think Deion made use of Tracey because she was so heavily involved in film, and he was shopping the reality TV show for his then young family around this time. He saw compatibility which in this case could be considered a means to an end.

I agree with you about men. They will date you for 10,000 years knowing you are not the one and when y'all break up he goes on and marries the next woman after you. They know....I didn't ever understand long relationships like that or long engagements for people of a particular age. Yes, I'm glad she cut her losses. Women need to let their needs be known…period. If a man leaves you hanging for 12 years without a marriage…it’s your fault if you never walk down the aisle because you are the one who put up with it. Women please leave, move on and find a man who WANTS YOU FOREVER! I lived with my now husband for 2 years…at the end of that two years I basically told him that if we are not getting engaged and moving toward a future then my time is being wasted….long story short…he put a ring on it quickly and we are 32 years into our marriage. Women need to be very clear about their needs/wants and if the man can’t or won’t or doesn’t make it happen….keep it moving and find love and your bliss elsewhere.

You are so right. But I am afraid many women still think that they are more important to the man than his last woman. Sometimes, a man who doesn’t want to marry the woman he is with, will keep her around because he can have his cake and eat it too. The woman will take care of him, live in his big house, and watch him cheat on her and she will have to grin and bear it, because the moment she objects to any of his deviant behavior, she gets kicked to the curb. Women have to love a man sometimes from a distance. If you are not the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with, you can threaten suicide if he doesn’t marry you soon and he may just hand you the rope and leave the room.

Tracy has had 3 failed relationships to end. She was w Kenny Edmonds, Eddie Murphy, and now Deion. No u can change men. Not have a mother and father is damaging. Deion didn't want to get married. Yes, sister I agree. He knew she wasn't the one for him. Ithink he knew almost immediately. U r so right. He knew she wasn't the one for him. He wanted control of his kids. He enc'd her to cont her career. She was pushing for it. Shaunnie knew she was the one pushing. Tracy has spent 12 years of her life w no input of any relationship w his children. She was just there for him. Her sons didn't want this blended family either. They were in private school and grew up in L.A. why she put her sons through this running back and forth to her endeavors and back to Deion kept her away from her sons who needed her. Don't get it twisted she didn't want to be stepmother to Deions kids either but she missed out on her kids development. She spent more time w Deion and her work than her sons. I really fault her for this. Deion from years back had no intention of ever marrying her. He was a Texas boy. I'm sure he appreciated her kindness but she wasn't the person he wanted. His children was his career after football. I think he saw her as why not spend time w ur own sons. I'. Not having any kids w u. Maybe she couldn'g have anymore kids. But I knew he wasn't going to .arry her. It was convenient for Tracy and convenient for Deion. Of course even if he said he would marry someday he didn't mean her ow when that would happen. Now Tracy is 56 or so and her sons whom she spent less time w r grown and probably have finished college at some prestigious U have been left out for 12 years. They have been afford the best of everythinv but a mother. I'. Sorry, I can see why Deion didn't marry her.

Just finished listening to the Part 2 Addendum and wanted to hear that before I commented. I think you've given a very fair assessment. I'll just say this: I remember watching Deion's [their] reality show a few years back. Even back then you could see a deep level of insecurity on his part with respect to real connection and commitment. When they were building a home together and Tracy had a request on the master bathroom features, his entire pushback to her and to his mom about not doing it was... "what if you/she leaves me?" That spoke volumes to me!

He just was not ready for marriage again. It was about his kids and career. He has often said that you don’t find a woman like her. She was hard to find. I think the conflict is the children and their career and his. Both successful individuals, but I agree she probably was pushing to be first and she was not. His kids are and that’s the conflict.

That new coaching job probably caused some strain in their relationship. I remember learning they had a long distance relationship at some point that worked for them, but thus time around probably made things difficult. Sometimes things just does not work out.

I agree with you on this commentary and the commentary from the addendum. However, some men usually have an idea early on if "you're the one" or not. If you're not the one but you are doing all the right things that a typical man usually likes, we are going to stick around until that woman starts to read between the lines. Lot of times, even if she does see through the BS, it's not a deterrent for her or him. As you mentioned, some women will try to mold a man into the man they think he can be and that usually back fires. As I got older, I got wiser. If I didn't want a woman wasting my time, why would I want to waste Her's? As a man, make your intentions known from the jump. It'll be "GO TIME" after that. You'll find out real quick if you and that woman are on the same page. It's unfortunate Coach wasted her time. Hopefully she can find her TRUE love.

Get this Tracy was at the hospital when he had his medical crisis before the football season started. He had to have rehab afterwards and there was a woman trainer helping him and I feel he became involved with. Tracy was not there all the time and found out about this and I feel that is the main reason she ended things.

That said, 99% of this video and the entire addendum clearly, coherently succinctly put forth your intention and thesis. I'm a first time viewer who fervently wishes I'd been the beneficiary of such wisdom years ago. Having been raised to be a wife with my own educational/professional pedigree, cultivated in domestic excellence worthy of a good hostess, and an urbane, cosmopolitan person at ease regardless of social class of those around me, it would've been great to have this explained in ways that didn't seem "anti-love" or elitist. Potential and proving myself were the bane of my relational choices. While admittedly late to this realization 😂, I'm thankful that the scales have fallen from my eyes.
