You guys are missing the point. Please get out of your feelings. He can't stay at CU. Same a Shedeur. He is a senior. He can only transfer out as a grad transfer or go to the NFL. That is the same boat Shedeur is in. Shedeur would have to hit the transfer portal if he decided to stay in college. He could not play for CU. It's the same with Nihkal. FSU or someone offered him a bag and it is probably more than he would make on a rookie contract in the NFL. Know the rules before we jump on someone. Now Nihkal will have two years of eligblity in their master program and two years of whatever NIL money that was offered. Same as our Shane Cokes and what Bo Nix did with Oregon. If you transfered in as an undergraduate you can't stay with the same school as a grad transfer.

OK, if you have an extra year of eligibility and have a stellar year like he did, and is now known as a standout LB in the Big12 why leave now? You have a year to build on your brand and your name in a defense you all ready know AND be a leader on the Defense/TEAM that just helped a team reach the doorstep of the Conference Championship and the National Championship Playoffs. You also had a teammate win the Heisman and damn near every award under the sun in CFB and will have 2 teammates drafted in the 1st Round of the NFL Draft and who knows how many others in later rounds. You don't get more eyes on a program and national level exposure than that! Who is advising these dudes? Doesn't make sense. The grass is not always greener and money ain't everything!
