Great reaction! Bowie has three songs in the Major Tom story. Space Oddity is the first, Ashes to ashes is second, and The last is Black Star, where we discover the fate of Major Tom. All are well worth the listen! Also, Bowie re-recorded Space Oddity in 1980 in the style of John Lennon as a tribute to his friend. I believe it’s on KZbin somewhere! Keep going down the Bowie catalog, it’s unequaled.
