A favorite - particularly for Haruna's drum build up during the verse, where she starts with simple kicks in the first line, increases the kick tempo in the first half of the 2nd line, and Explodes into crazy-fast doubles for the rest of the verse and through the pre-chorus and chorus. I also love the two big leg kicks from Miyako during the solo and the outro (this is pre-Ice Queen period Miyako). Lovebites Fun Fact: In early MVs and Live performances Asami used to have a habit of running her fingers through her hair and scratching her head (like she does here). Around the time of the Daughters of the Dawn Tour that completely stopped (self-conscious?).

Michael, believe or not, Miyako does that switching between guitar and piano in live concerts. She does it so smoothly and naturally without missing a single note, she's as if playing the same instrument on the same rhythm. You can hear the moment when Miyako stops chugging on her guitar and switches to piano on waltz then you can watch when she switches back to guitar in this live video kzbin.info/www/bejne/bJ_GmmuBqb19hs0.

KZbin Channel beautiful night LOVEBITES Asami & Miyako [Rising] Acoustic I love the rhythm and sound choice of Miyako's piano interlude. Toward the climax, Asami's overwhelming voice with full of emotion moves me and gives me goosebumps.

Haruna and Miho were previously in the Fantasy Metal band Destrose for years, and Midori was a session player for years as well. So they didn't quite just pop up our of nowhere.

Night after night I watch Lovebites reactions. I never get bored. And each reaction I marvel at how they are biologically incapable of writing anything but excellent. No band before them has been able to hit pay-dirt with every song, even the “greats”. It’s not bias on my part, if the impossible ever happened and they wrote a bad song I’d say so. Then I’d commit Hara-Kiri.

especially first timers.. back in the day; there were 2 song 45rpm vinyl .. the hit song and a "filler" song on the other side.. aka "B" side.. LOVEBITES couldn't write a B side song if they tried..

Watching it will give you a pretty good image of the band at their most triumphant - no convoluted attempt at a story, just five ladies thrashing their hearts out in their white dresses, atop majestic sea cliffs. Fittingly, this is one of the more uplifting and “poppy” songs- and don’t think for a second that this means backing off on the intricate guitar work or the overall energy, because the riffs are still speedy as hell, and the drumming may be some of Haruna’s most frenetic on the entire record. The lyrics and overall vocal presentation are probably where Asami’s more soulful background come into play, and the backing vocals from the rest of the band are more prominent in the chorus here as well. There’s a nice little break in the action mid-song that lets Miyako show off her piano chops while Asami sings her heart out on the bridge, and it’s remarkable how fluid the transition is from total RAWK! mode into that mellower section, which even has a completely different rhythm from the rest of the song, only for that to segue back into the song’s original breakneck pace with another blistering guitar solo.And the lyrics are 100% encouragement to someone who is too down and out to think they could ever escape the hellhole they’ve found themselves in. All of this is to say, the lyrics and overall message of the song are particularly deep.

Great reaction Coach.. I understand your reasons for doing the MV, but the live from 2021 is killer and has closed captions.. The message in this song has brought a great many people out of dispair including myself.. unfortunately I think you missed it as her accent is quite difficult, and you never mentioned it.. You strike me as a community giver and someone who works with other peole in need so Please do your self a favour and take a listen to it in your own time and you will se what I mean..
