I thought I was alone! Back in 2018, I bought 2 Coach leather bags from its retail store - one in smooth leather and another in pebbled leather. Not long after within 6 months, both bags have severe peeling at their corners, and I am someone who is quite careful with all my bags! I could not relate with those who sung praises about Coach leather bags, unfortunately. No more Coach bags for me. I found greater quality leather bags made from Japan which as mostly at the same price point as Coach. Even Staud bags does not peel like Coach. T_T

@@kirshannmarcus It is a leather goods store named Itagaki, and I got my saddle bag and backpack from its physical store in Hokkaido. Although there are scratches due to people bumping me at crowded places, they can be minimised with some leather conditioner/waxing which I do once a year. The leather are so thick, and they held up so well. I wish I bought more! I found its website recently: www.itagaki.co.jp/shopping/

I bought the bag in buff and immediately returned it due to the creasing at the top when you open it. I’ve bought seven Coach bags over the past two years with three having issues. My work tote in pebble leather has a tear in the strap, another bag has edging coming off on one of the handles and yet another has wear on the bottom edge of the purse. I’m done with their lack of quality.

i got a coach outlet messenger bag in 2019 and the quality is superb. But, im shocked that Coach is headed to the path of Chanel etc by reducing the quality and amping up their prices

I got this exact bag and yes I agree the bag felt and looked like plastic. I returned mine and I got the denim soft tabby and I love mine 💙 the quality is great so not sure why the leather soft tabby is so terrible 😢 While I was leaving a comment I saw my comment 😊 don’t mind at all so use away
