The concept of 'purpose' is one of my favorite areas of Coach Corey Wayne's teachings; because I know to be true the effect it has in maintaining a healthy mental and emotional state. My impassioned comments on this topic can be found on many of these great videos, but can be summed up, simply: Follow your purpose, and she'll follow YOU.

Coach your book is very subtle and densely packed with knowledge. When I reflect at my experience with relevent sections of your book , I am amazed by the simplistic ,yet deliberate and subtle way you put it. The words, their order, the analogies,the mindset behind ...everything is refined to its core. Your's is only book I've found in the non-religious category after Richest man in Babylon with these same traits and thats the reason why it needs 10 to 15 rereads because on surface it appears just common sense but every word has a cause. Thanks a lot Coach. You changed my Life for better .

Corey is so right about being chased by a needy woman. The very girl that hurt me deeply 4 years ago was a highly needy and excessively over pursuing female that sent me tons of messages and yes, it got OLD real quick but when she met another guy, she transfered her behavior towards him and I was hurt. It's not like I didn't love her because I did, but the text bombing me at times was a huge red flag of insecurity.

A lot of people with BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder) will do this in the beginning, as well--it is often called "love bombing".
@jackbravo21727 жыл бұрын
Yes I believe it cause she definitely was highly affectionate towards me for a while but then that all turned later and she was completely opposite, so it was really strange to see two different sides to her.

yup... lost three years of my life to a woman that was borderline.... it wasn't until one my buddies who is going to school to be a physiologist warned me about her after he met her.
@DerrickthePinecone7 жыл бұрын
Jack Bravo Yes, sounds like she has emotional dysreg, which is tragic, but a lot of people have BPD/NPD, and it only takes a few weeks or a couple of months at best before the mask slips off of their faces. Those with Borderline are essentially afraid of getting close, because their underlying problem is the fear of being abandoned, which obviously stems from their childhood trauma. I have been in two relationships with BPDs and it was torment--the second one I recognized the traits right away, but it was still painful because I cared about her. I was able to walk away quite quickly, though, without batting an eye after realizing that it wouldn't work out and wouldn't be worth it, considering the fact that MASS CHAOS usually follows with BPDs. You can quickly go from their hero to their zero in a flash. The problem is that it is often like walking on eggshells (there's a book about BPD that is called this, in fact, which is worth looking into), and one never knows what will trigger them, and when they are triggered, this is when things begin to get weird. I always warn people to flee in the opposite direction when dealing with one with BPD, because it usually ends in craziness. They have the capability to love greatly, but they are like emotional vampires, and they are basically using you as their current light to fill their dark voids. It is truly maddening, and also eerie and frightening at times, depending.
@DerrickthePinecone7 жыл бұрын
STIUPTONOGOOD I am glad that you are in a better position now, though--those three years of your life weren't lost or wasted, I wouldn't say, but rather this was a learning experience, and quite frankly, it makes me one stronger in the sense of being able to understand the traits to look for in someone later down the road. Borderline is such a terrible disorder, and as one who is empathic like myself, who also understands emotional trauma and has a family dynamic of depression, etc., I can understand and feel compassionate towards those that have BPD. However, the problem is that one is asking for a lot of trouble and heartache and so much devastating pain if one continues on with them, when one is privy that they have the disorder. Often times the mask doesn't slip off until much later, and it is truly insane! BPDs have no 'grey area'. They do not want to 'discuss' or 'work things out' like normal healthy-minded individuals, because they do not have the capacity--they FEAR being abandoned, which is one reason why they have issues with holding relationships. BPDs are known for their rocky relationships, and using people to fill the voids, per se. BPDs, as you probably know, will paint you as either White or Black (white being good, black being bad), and there's no middleground. They are triggered easily, and are often thin-skinned. Yes, they can love with great majestic sweeps of glory, but it's clouded with underlying issues, sadly. The worst pain of my entire life was when someone I deeply cared for and was in love with suddenly stopped talking to me, FOREVER. There was no discussing anything. There was no talking to me like a normal person. There was nothingness. I was left in a barren desert, alone and freezing. She couldn't tell me goodbye and that she didn't want to speak with me anymore--no, she ostracized me and gave me the silent treatment (one of their greatest weapons, which is a form of verbal abuse in itself!)... She vanished. Disappeared forever. I understand the pain that victims of BPD abuse have gone through. It was when I educated myself, took care of myself, and realized that it wasn't me, and that other people have had these experiences by the thousands, did it help me to heal from this devastating pain to the very core of my being.

I have done the text every day and Corey is correct the women loose interest and you are just another guy blowing up their phone. Thank you for answering this email, Corey! I'll post more context for each question here in case it helps others apply them to their situations: 1. I sought out Corey's work after screwing up with the girl from questions 1-3. I read his book once before writing my email, but my first question's naivete illustrates why it's so important to read it multiple times and carefully reconcile apparent contradictions. I thought I understood the importance of rationing availability until I watched a particular video and confused concepts: There, he recommended making a date on the spot if a girl asks you for one (even while on a date or hanging out), and the frequency of dates will naturally increase over time as she pursues. The caveat is, "Make a date if she asks for one" does not mean, "You can repeatedly agree to hang out tonight/tomorrow if she asks," as I had done. I wrote in specifically seeking that clarification, but I shouldn't have had to. My second read-through (especially pages 39 and 182) reinforced why it's still important to remain a challenge and ensure she earns more of your time gradually. Be aware, you can make the "too available" mistake even if you have your purpose on lock. I'm deeply passionate about my career, but I found myself pursuing it exclusively at the expense of my social life, so I recently started making time for one. I'd see a few friends rather inconsistently on the weekends, but my weekday nights were wide open aside from open-ended solitary hobbies. I'm trying to add balance by integrating new friends and romance into my life, so I saw no reason at the time to tell a cute girl who was pursuing me, "Meh, I'm too busy reading to have you over!" Aside from being too available, my mistakes were a bit different from what Corey anticipated: I met her out alongside some new friends, and she basically fell into my lap. I never initiated contact with her even once, but she started asking to see me frequently, likely from insecurity as Corey explained. This also manifested as drama, and my biggest mistakes were calling her out on it and weakly trying to force a resolution (thereby chasing) instead of backing off with dignity. Even if I'd done everything right, and even if she were more secure, it's always hit-or-miss when the ex returns. As Corey says, all you can do is try not to push them further away, and that's exactly what I did in my ignorance. 2. Corey unfortunately misunderstood my intent here, and I may have tried to make the question too generally applicable: I met the girl above in the process of meeting new friends and expanding my social circle. These new friends often reach out to me, but she's so influential and central to this small group that I couldn't integrate without forcing my way into her life and orbiting as a grotesque side effect. My intent is opposite from finding excuses to see her: I do NOT want to spend any significant time around her unless she comes to me on her own, period. Part of this is because I'd still be glad for that to happen, and imposing myself for the sake of being friends with everyone else would senselessly rule it out. The rest is simply that I want to behave in a centered way I can respect myself for, and hanging with a group she's at the center of is just not compatible with that outcome. What I really meant was, "What's the best way to keep my center without abandoning these growing new friendships?" They're interesting guys, but I don't commit to small group plans unless I'm confident this girl will be elsewhere, and I don't know how to respond if we're out and someone thinks it would be a good idea to call her up. This is precisely because I do NOT talk with them about her (let alone use them for "help," which is insane). Keeping everything to myself felt like jumping through hoops and being disingenuous, so I wrote Corey to learn if there was a forthright/direct/honest way to express that I want to be friends with them without joining their circle. His advice is probably best though, and still useful: Say nothing. Long-term, I'll need to become the leader of my own social circle and invite people as I please. 3. A "let's be friends" letter might be a curveball, but I like to be prepared for any eventuality, because my life attracts weirdness. This was a gap in my knowledge, and Corey's advice makes perfect sense. 4. The question about picking up vs. meeting out was about another girl (same as question 5) who I met through online dating shortly after discovering the coach. We met up for late-evening drinks for our first date, and meeting up had practical advantages for the second date as well. The logistics of sex were obviously better, and I could avoid parental awkwardness. Corey somehow thought I meant, "I can't get along with parents," but I actually meant, "It might interfere with seducing a girl if her parents start making cringe-inducing relationship-y comments right before a second date." Saying that has happened before would be an understatement. That said, Corey has made the point before, "How can I be a gentleman, open the car door for you, etc. if I'm not picking you up?" I wanted to try things his way and give her a different kind of dating experience for our second date, but she insisted it was off the table. That led me to wonder, "Just how important is it to actually pick her up?" Corey's answer from experience: Not as important as the logistics of sex! That's a practical answer I like quite a bit. 5. Corey's advice on the food question is simple: You don't have to eat the same damn thing. In my case I backed myself into a corner, so be careful you don't do the same: Our first date with late-evening drinks had gone well, so I suggested going back to my place. She agreed, but she surprisingly hadn't eaten yet, and I was getting hungry again anyway. It was too late to eat out, but she wasn't interested in anything I said I had at my place. Instead she suggested grabbing a frozen pizza to eat together, which means sharing a single item. I thought, "Hey, why not?" What could go wrong, right? I found out, "She could be picky about toppings and lead you in circles, and you can't retake the lead without being a dick or switching gears entirely." Next time I'll only share a frozen pizza if I already know our tastes align.

Listen, I understand when you explained about women naturally should chase men. It makes plenty of sense the way you've explained. So many women and men coaches say men need to chase. And it's because the man needs to earn the woman or he won't appreciate her. Where is the balance of these together? Men do need to earn to appreciate, but we aren't prizes either! I mean, prizes are won, then on to the next one to win. I want for keeps! Have I missed a video on this balance? Thank you, Coach Corey!

+Coach Corey Wayne I want sustainable! I watched a Brent Smith video on "stop chasing women" earlier today. I felt distracted and un-engaged. While his thing is similar to yours, it drug out and was boring, though perhaps because I've listened to your video's. I asked if he was dehydrated or had indigestion, because his swallowing and mouth sounds distracted me. He didn't seem solid present and confident to me. He was speaking before men, and I guess men are more casual with other men. I wouldn't have chosen him in a group, myself. He didn't seem grounded enough for me. And I've noticed I need that and presence in a man. A man won't be solid every second and will have fear and nervousness come up; wanting to do the best and right thing. I get it! I would still accept a man when he's nervous and confused. I just need him to show up and be. It lets me know he's there. I want to build a bridge with that kind of man. Not one that feels hesitate and squirrelly. I need to feel safe!

In the last year and a half, I've gone from being engaged to a Narcissistic/ abusive/ pain in the butt woman, who made me feel like utter crap all the time and devalued me. To being with a gorgeous model, who dotes on me, surprises me and wants to sleep with me everytime I see her. Thanks to Corey.

I'm starting to realize that everything is temporary. When a girl is into you and announces she loves to watch sunsets, don't plan to watch sunsets every day from now on. It just means today you can enjoy a sunset together. Next week you can maybe enjoy a sunset together. Next month she'll probably block you and be with someone else or something else weird. Enjoy today and the next date, there's no such thing as two compatible people having a long-term relationship peacefully so don't count on it. Every moment is unique and should be enjoyed without assuming there will be more.

If your looking to pursue a true feminine, just know she is not going to chase you. Its not in a feminines nature to. Chasing is masculine. When a feminine women wants to purse you back, she become more submissive and vulnerable towards you. Although, a women that is more dominate in her masculine energy will chase you. Masculine and feminine energy is not gender specific. You can be a feminine man and still have a manly appearance and be completely heterosexual. You can also be a masculine woman that look girly and be heterosexual. Im just saying for those of you looking to purse a feminine woman, dont expect her to chase because she will catch on to your game and disregard you.

I have listened to Corey's audio book loads of times, must be about 15 times coz Audible told me I listed to it 10 times. I find it hard to implement , though, I haven't written the lists he tells you to make about what you want. I worry that I am not in my masculine enough. I'm not dominant , as it were.

I don't understand one thing, I can probably stop texting her for a week maybe two. But this does not make any sense if I am going to wait for her to respond first after we had amazing dates I mean if I stop texting or calling, seeing relatives the relationship is going to deteriorate fast. How is dating a girl any different? This is mental really. I feel like I will lose interest in her if I don't text her each second day. How will she miss me? Won't she think he probably is not interested in me and stop responding at all. Maybe our next time meeting will feel awkward because of that where she does not want to see me. Too many questions but it's just so weird to believe this. It is because of this I can't see women as human beings anymore since we are social creatures.

Thank you soooo fucking much Corey :D still working on reading your book but it has already had a major impact!! I took my time with a girl who I had interest in and gave her space. Basically her boyfriend ended up going to jail and we started talking a little bit, and ended up going to a concert over the summer. Didn't end up doing anything that night because I respect peoples relationships, and now here I am a few months later, took her out for new years and definitely had success :D used your technique of increasing touching, reading her body language, and by midnight I just grabbed her and kissed her!! That definitely set things in my court corey!!! my god I still cant even believe it!!

Solid GOLD!!! Corey what’s ur deal dude? Are u married? Kids? Relationship? Wtf? I’m not gonna take the time to dig more but ur the MAN!! Be honest, are u slaying 8-10’s or 7’s and below? The scale encompasses all ie. intellect(mentally and emotionally), success, attractiveness(inside and out), etc. Then, is it safe to say that eventually after crushing enough 10’s they all turn to 7’s and at the end we’re just lucky to have someone that consistently tolerates our shit if the ultimate goal is to not be alone until we die?! Or am I just all types of messed up?

A lot of the time it’s not a reflection of how much they care about you, but how uncomfortable they are with themselves. If they’re really insecure and anything you do can be perceived as you not being as into her anymore, shits annoying.

What if a guy wants a feminine woman who stays in her feminine energy and would never chase a man? I agree this works for clueless women, but it makes the man a recieving feminine guy, and the woman an agressive masculine chaser.. Who wants that? I dont? I wouldn´t want a guy who wanted me to chase him all the time, I would stick to my feminine energy ways and recieve from whoever came along and really wanted to invest in me. So what´s your advice to a guy if he wanted someone like me?
@Zeeangelofdeath5 жыл бұрын
Solarium you act as if every man is listening to this guy and like this is the new norm. The thing is, only three percent of guys may listen and apply this Technique. Women always think they know what they want until something unique comes along. Be that unique. this information will make you the stand out guy. women will want to be with you versus you growing on them, and them having all the power. Women are naturally complex, and giving them just a small amount of complexity back stuns them in a good way. If you wanna be traditional and do things like you see in the movies then by all means continue But then you will be just like every other guy she’s ever talked to, predictable and forgettable.

Everyone says living with a woman is a bad idea. Keep dating, don't let her into your house. Maintain separate houses. Attraction grows in space and dies when you start living together.

6:57 That is very true what he said. Met a woman just like that, calling and texting constantly, wanted to book me up for the weekend and she even talked about how she wanted kids in the future... Mind, she is in her 30s and that future is probably three months from now or sooner I figured so I bolted.
