I just wanted to show my appreciation to this channel. I started taking basketball seriously about a month before school started 2021 and thought I’d have the time to get good enough to make the team but I didn’t. I have been working so hard to make the team sophomore year and this channel keeps giving me more to learn and practice.
@ClassicMist3602 жыл бұрын
youre practicing wrong man, learn 1 or 2 moves for each situation (triple threat, dribbling, passing, etc) and thats it. master those moves first. having 1-2 perfectly executed moves are much better than 5+ averagely executed moves.

#13 @2:29 see the use of the left hand on the defenders hamstring, that is a sneaky use of the offhand, is that strictly legal? Grey area? Or illegal, just rarely noticed to get called?

Only threes and layups on this channel - I'm not a fan of a low efficiency midrange shot. NBA players only shoot 42% from midrange. Lower level players are probably gonna shoot way below that.
@domination48922 жыл бұрын
@@CoachFrikki Midrange is effective if the defence closes out hard on catch and shoot threes and packs the paint. Most elite defences do this (Bucks, Raps, Celts, Warriors) and force pull ups and post ups (especially in the playoffs when defense is tighter). Having an in between game can be effective
@dthreezy2 жыл бұрын
What? ….MJ, Kobe, Durant, Kawhi, Cp3 , Kyrie, Derozan , Bird all heavily utilize/ utilized the midrange shot and these are some of the greatest players in NBA history
@CoachFrikki2 жыл бұрын
@@dthreezy Throughout their careers: MJ shot 47% from midrange (last 2 Bulls years). Kobe shot 41% from midrange. KD shot 46% from midrange. Kawhi shot 45% from midrange. CP3 shot 48% from midrange. Kyrie shot 46% from midrange. Derozan shot 42% from midrange. All below 50% - on average these guys shot 45% from midrange. Comparable to shooting 30% from three. Simply not an efficient shot. Men lie, women lie. But math don't lie.
