I think part of that is on the coach though, royal should be enforcing stricter comm discipline. People should not be saying shit if it doesn't contribute to the round win. After anybody dies, the expectation should be location of enemy, health of enemies hit more than 50 damage, after that shut up and talk about it after the round. Clogging up comms with "I was lagging" or "that shot was insane!" is incorrect in any organized setting.

I want to say, the intro holds true outside valorant too. I am taking coaching for piano. And i noticed my improvement is negligible after 4 months of coaching compared to self learning. Only last week i realised, it was because i had the wrong mindset. Every time i got a new piece i wanted to learn in and perfect it. But i forgot that my goal isn't to learn this single piece but piano as a whole. Instead of learning exercise from the piece i learnt the memorize the entire piece by muscle memory. This put me on square 1 for the next piece. Now instead of learning a single piece i am practicing the techniques individually compared to the piece as a whole. It's so much slower and takes tons of MENTAL effort (which i wasn't putting at the start by simply memorizing). I am hoping there will be a clear difference, but i can't tell you just now. For those wondering, i am completel beginniner , probably bronze league level. Learning Bach 2 part Invention number 13 now.

RoyalG, I think from nurokabes side, letting them practice controlling their emotions was the better thing here as then they would synchronise their decision as a team rather than flaming others. They aren’t understanding the fundamental reasons for why they lost or their ego/humility isn’t letting them. I am tell they have the passion to do better so it’s working around the emotions.

I think something that could've helped Nurikabe a lot would've been to force them to use push to talk, since a lot of them tend to talk way too much without giving actual info. If they had to use push to talk consciously they would probably only use it for information gathering, although it might make it a bit harder for them at first to adapt to pressing the button.

I currently have a premier team of 7 people who don't know each other. At first, I expressed the desire for everyone to shoot together in pairs in the rank system. But they think that rank shooting is useless, only effective when one is a duelist, the other is an initiator. They want the whole team to shoot together once or twice a week.
