I'm doing the 30 days skill challenge, I know it's late from that video you made about it, but I don't think anything is too late to start. Today is day 14 and I have been watching a lot of videos on how to shoot correctly and stickhandle and everything. I have gotten way better then I was before. Thanks for all the help!!

Great video; bringing research and applying it to hockey is a valuable revelation. Just like we grow the body by constantly challenging it with increasing weights, we need to challenge the brain spatially. I will apply this in my training today! Thanks from Czech Republic!

this is such a helpful video. I play left wing and I find my self trying to score around 10 15 feet so at home that's were I shoot and I can hit my target but on the ice in a game I don't do to well so I'm definitely going to try moving up closer and move back

Hey Jeremy! Thank you so much for all your effort and vidoes! I am from India and just started skating 4 months ago ( at the Ohio state University) and am already in a team thanks to you! Could you please make a video on tips on stick handling and how to control a puck while skating? I am confident with my skating but I always lose the puck while taking sharp turns or sudden direction changes. Thank you so much coach!

I have a pretty narrow drive way to shoot on. So I was thinking would rotating the net work for practicing shooting from sharper angles.

This may seem trivial but when you practice on your feet be it in sandals or tennis shoes you are working with a stick that is the same length as when you're playing with it 3 to 4 inches higher on skates. We may brush it off when we're practicing in the backyard or in the street, but we sure do give a considerable amount of concern with stick length. How much difference do you think this makes?
@stoolie69937 жыл бұрын
oh...and another thing that I have find helps is using a heavier stick than you use on ice
@tombarni60094 жыл бұрын
Or putting an extra weight on your stick, e.g. the one available at Hockeyshot.com or just tape a puck onto your stick

Hey Jeremy just a question since I shoot pucks in a small garage I really can't do it in there but I do have a street hockey net and a green biscuit is there any difference if I use shooting pads or a green biscuit

What do you think of the True gloves? I tried them on at a shop not too long ago, and they felt like a nightmare.
@fineman31417 жыл бұрын
Marat Shikhris Marner likes them. I heard True is coming out with a glove that has a changeable palm. You can zipper it off and replace it when you need to. I heard it from an employee at Pro hockey life.
@metalmarat7 жыл бұрын
FineMan31 Marner liking them doesn't make a difference. He's their spokesman and they pay him to use True gloves and sticks. Those gloves with the replaceable palm already came out and they feel like trash. Overall true gloves feel like very cheap street hockey gloves.
@fineman31417 жыл бұрын
Marat Shikhris Ya, I know it doesn't make a difference, I wasn't trying to make a point saying that Marner likes them. I tried on True gloves before and they were alright. I see what you're saying, they feel a little weird.
