love the shorter sticks with the big flex. great for stickhandling close to your body and being shorter the flex is not as big as you would think.

Best decision I ever made was dropping to 65 flex intermediates since I tend to have my sticks around 62". Not surprised it didn't feel like you lost much from your regular choices. I'd be really curious on trying that exact stick, considering my current preferred option doesn't exist anymore.

I use 55 (feels more like 60 flex) flex warrior INT QRL with the ovechkin type w28 crazy curve and I'm 20 and 5'9" I switched from an Easton 70 flex and the difference is AMAZING. My shots got 1000x better and my release is way better and everything is just alot better with the whippy stick. Accurucy is many a little worse sometimes (maby its just the crazy w28 curve).

I use an 80 flex and I play with a stick that’s practically taller than me (when I’m on skates it’s about the same height as me) I love it so far. Thanks Bauer!

I'm 6"8 and I use a pair of 65" inch sticks, I have a 85 (75 with extension) and a 60 flex stick (50 with extension) I love the 50 flexer to pick up nothing but trash goals. A couple of things 1 unless your on D the long stick doesn't have any real advantage. (you can fake a goalie out by having them misjudge your reach but don't count on it) maybe you get a little reach on the pass but you lose stick handling abilities especially in that hockey stance. Also its easier to pick a puck off of a long stick because its not close to the body.

Hi Jeremy, u r absolutely right, the most players use a to hard stick. But I am shore if you will do a one timer ore slap shot it will be to soft. Also for a hard, normal pass, the 60 Flex well not be the right for your weight. Perhaps i play a 70 flex NEUTRAL 2.0. For senior games it's absolutely ok. But not for faster leagues. If the passes are more strong ore slap shots are aloud, i personal use a Flex 80. But for young players we make also junior size with flex 20 and 30. They have to lerne to use the flex on there sticks. So go on with your movies, they r always good and interesting. Cheers

@Coach Jeremy, I notice that Gretsky, Lemieux, Datsyuk and Crosby all have sticks that only go to the same height as the stick you used in this video. Do you think that, as far as dangling, etc. you had better stickhandling and control in close to your feet with a faster snap shot at the net. I am your height and weight and am thinking that (ex. Warrior Covert 60 flex) a shorter stick and similar might be a good "twig" option to try out/test out. Your thoughts? (Keep up the great work!)

I think its an interesting idea, I'm 190lbs but only about 5'10" and I normally run an 87-92 flex. But I worked it out that an Intermediate uncut stick comes to just under my chin with skates on. I'm thinking about going for a 60 Flex Intermediate as most of my goals are from in close wrist shots and snap shots. What do we think?

Juan Mesa depending on the type of player you are. If you want to bend your knees more than it would be good but I’m 13 and I have a stick that when on the ice, is up to my nose. I’m 5’7 and a forward. Longer sticks are known to reside towards defensemen and shorter ones are used for forwards. But in the end, it really depends on what you prefer.
