Hi Coach Kennie, Can you made a video about man positioning and strategy in the mix double? Please emphasis on when the man is serving and when man is receiving will be great. I seems to never get it right (clueless of what to do) when i receiving a serve. I generally tried to drop to the lady opponent (generally the weak one) and anticipate of what the opponent (she) is going to do. But it always seems that my anticipation is wrong and i ended up returning the weak shot, which gives away the opponent (man) to attack the open spot or my weak partner. Thank you!
@CoachKennieAsuncion4 жыл бұрын
Yes will definitely discuss that for the mixed doubles strategy & positioning. I am excited for this coz’ its a favorite of mine... I will give you tips on where to place it especially from recieving a serve. As for your anticipation, if you feel you always get it wrong then take the opposite of it, if you feel like waiting for a straight try and opt for the opposite side so wait for cross (its kinda playing with your own mind to change). It’s good you are trying to anticipate it, don’t get frustrated & keep trying... i believe you will get it!! Hopefully, we can get to this topic sooner. 😁🏸😁🏸

at 2:50, it should be a "lift" instead of a "clear"
@CoachKennieAsuncion3 жыл бұрын
It can be a lift it can be a clear maybe i was pointing from the movement in front that is why its better to say to lift but i was also referring to a clear as well, so anytime u clear from the back or lift from the front. Point is when we give it high to the back to our opponents as to how we will position but thank u for your comment😁🏸

Hi, I do hope this comment will reach you po, does these positions po applicable to all types of double match badminton? (All boys, all girls, and team with both girls and boys)
@CoachKennieAsuncion3 жыл бұрын
Mens doubles and womens doubles will have the same positioning. However for mixed doubles (mens and womens), there’s a bit of difference😁🏸
