The size of bucket various from 0.375 to 2 cubic metres, (13 to 177 cubic feet).
Power shovel are used principally for excavation and removal of overburden in open cut mining operations.
A Shovel's work cycle or digging cycle, consists of four phases _--------------------

2). Swinging
3). Dumping
4). Returning
