This is incredible! And I especially like the fact that the footage you used wasn't from that abysmal restored version where Henry hit the back of the station, shot forward without any puffing, and Edward puffed without any movement.

Mind you, A. fan passion projects don't have some of the inherit limits of commercial ventures (though they do have others) and B. This is just a fragment of an episode. Also, while the supermax HD video quality is impressive and a nice perk... it's not like the video quality of the official remasters is bad, so it only adds so much. A more substantial and appreciable improvement in my book would be fixing the numerous instances where the official remasters cut a scene too late or otherwise fail to match the editing polish of the original broadcast and VHS versions. Although looking at the comments, this does seem to cover some of that.

The master footage that Hit had during the restoration period was broken, so when restoration was on its way, they had to... improvise...

@@IsaacC94 Yeah but, now just thinkin, the reasoning as to why they used that shot in Coal's restoration makes no sense. Because usually in some of the restored episodes, they use footage from the unrestored versions to fill in missing shots. And yet for Coal, they used an outtake. Makes me wonder if HiT (or whoever was in charge of the remasters) even proof-checked all the footage before editing it together...
