Guys, i watched your video a wee while ago and it inspired me to do c2c. Cycled from hamilton down to maryport on the friday. 118 miles slept in my alpkit soloist. A great sleep. Saturday cycled to whitehaven then cycled to brampton, slept in a field. Again a great sleep and on sunday morning cycled to tynemouth and train back home. 263 miles cycled and loved every mile of it. Thanks for the inspiration. Next year doing nc500 over 7 days. Take care

It's a nice route in the summer, but those black and white poles on the side of the road from Hartside-Allenheads are to show you where the edge of the road is in Winter... and every few years we get a few days when the snow is above the tops of the poles as well :) I've lived in the North Pennines my whole life but at 35 I'm only just getting into cycling the area - your video is a great inspiration, cheers.

The Mid-life Crisis Guy I made it to Ho Chi Minh a few weeks ago and put my bike in storage as I had to return to the U.K. for medical and other things. I’m returning in October to continue on once scans and other things are cleared. I’m looking forward to it as I have been traveling in the rainy seasons since arriving in India and the rains pretty much end at the end of October so it will make for much better riding along the coast then the southern coast of Cambodia into Southern Thailand and Malaysia
