Hey Bowly, another cracking video. Pretty new to throwing plastics around. Do you prefer the ingoing or outgoing tide for that sort of fishing? Cheers
@bowlysfishing Жыл бұрын
Thanks Troy. The tides are all spot relevant, it changes from creek to creek. Generally the better times is when the water isn’t way up into the mangrove flats where the fish and bait can get up there and nothings forced off or into the edge ✌🏼

Can I recomend a wet towel to drop them on and a barbless hook. The less taruma the better if you are letting them go anyway.
@emulsifi3r Жыл бұрын
Hey, Bowly. Is there any chance that you can walk us through the process when you're done fishing in salt water. Like how you clean stuff or what you do after you finish fishing. I've been fishing recently in saltwater, I rinse my gear but still ends up with rust. Thank you.
@teeanahera8949 Жыл бұрын
Rinse in warm to hot water to help dissolve the salt mate. Don’t put hot water on your reels or soft plastics though, the salt will get in along the hook with soft plastics and that’s hard to remove, best to take the plastic off and wash the jig head with hot water. When dry give them a spray with silicone spray (cheap at Aldi from time to time).
@iamavaenergy11 ай бұрын
After fishing in salt water, it's important to rinse your gear with fresh water to remove any salt residue. You can also use a mild soap solution to help remove any dirt or debris from your gear. After rinsing, you should dry your equipment thoroughly before storing it away to prevent rusting. If you're worried about rusting, you can also coat your equipment with a light oil such as WD-40 or vegetable oil. This will help protect the metal from corrosion and rust.

arent there any crocs where u fish? you seem not too alert about reaching in the water etc. I would be so alert all the time! stressful or no?
@bowlysfishing10 ай бұрын
Very few in this area but yes there is some. I never stress in this area, I’m cautious in others but the sharks are much more of an issue with hands in the water compared to crocs.

@tomspinks8203 Жыл бұрын
It’s all about getting out there. Nothing worse then people sitting on the internet waiting to try see where someone has caught a fish to just go sit on it all weekend. Fish are active move around if you find more spots to bounce between you catch more fish.
@epicgamer785 Жыл бұрын
if he told you where he then everyone would go there lmao. 9/10 times i go to this spot there is no one there and i would like it to stay that way
@darbyshaw1514 Жыл бұрын
It’s how they make a living you knob and provide you with free entertainment. Get of you’re arse and find the spots yourself which is half the fun of fishing.
