There was no need for this coastal road, I would have preferred the government fixing all the old dilapidated roads OR probably invest heavily and fix our electricity. With good electricity, so many things will fall in place; there will be reduction in those Okada riders, I did a survey in 2017 and I realized that most of the Okada riders has a trade work they learnt, some of them are welders, factory workers, barbers, electricians and other things that has something to do with electricity…

Honestly. The road is too long for nothing. Not necessary

Look at how disorganised and tattered the whole place looks. The lagos state government should be blamed for this lack of town planning. Everywhere looking like a shanty in lagos because some state govermment offcials wont do the right thing and keep giving out approvals without planning. Look at the beautiful beach that they turned into a shanty, destroying the whole coastline of lagos state. Go to other countries and see what their coastline looks like. In nigeria, coastlines are meant to be ghettos and criminal hideouts. Go on KZbin and search for coastlines in southafrica and see what they look like. We keep destroying the country everyday. We are the most populous black nation on earth, with the world's richest black people, we are called the giant of africa but we cannot show any single city to the world that we are proud of because of people like these and corrupt and lazy government offcials. It is such a pity.

A community you have not visited you are calling shanties . This is an original village that gradually developed. I am sure this place is better than where you leave

@@samsonokoekoekeihomen3765You can imagine, there is no empathy in him at all. The government decision is very wrong as regards the senseless proposed demolition of these areas. Lets call a spade a spade.

I can imagine people who are so much full of hates and very senseless in their reasoning... Anything that goes on, they quickly associate it to tribal sentiment; as if, no only ona nai dey d country... Go and make your findings very well, it was not only "landmark beach resort " that was demolish, another beach resort " oniru beach", owned by Yoruba man was also demolished, yet people like u, we not allow social media to rest with this so called tribal sentiment that engulfed u people..... Sorry to say, but Nigerian government is so backwards. There’s no need for that size of a road passing directly through several impoverished communities. Traffic is virtually nonexistent with people so poor they can’t buy cars! Instead of preserving community and personal resources the government seems to relish destroying and erasing built facilities. Even if there’s a need for such a road, there are many possible alignment avoiding populated areas. It’s just so counterproductive 😂

This is why I'm saying that Umahi has really failed in this very Project. Coastal road is a failed Project, how horried the whole process is show's the failure of Umahi and Tinubu.

Umahi is just a puppet of the president. What drives this project is selfish interests and gains.
