There’s one Coaster Studios moment I take credit for and it’s that joke. I pitched that idea when I was there at the Coaster Christmas event they did in December of 2016. Everybody kinda had an idea of what the parody was gonna be about and I thought it would be a good reference if they ran up to the ride like the Griswalds in Vacation and one of the ride Ops tells them the ride is closed and the moose should have told them so.

Lightning Rod is a solid ride, double down and sharp bend ride elements plus more. If I ever go to Dollywood, I would like to try this one and Thunderhead.
